Game 1 is in the books
Team Blue hit the ice this past Sunday for their first game of the season against the Lasalle Sabrecats Yellow Team at Kingsville arena.
The girls were excited to finally get on the ice for a game after all of the hard work they had put in at their practices. These girls proved they were up to the task, with their first goal of the season being scored only a few minutes in by Sophie Gobbo. They didn't stop there, scoring 2 more goals in the first, one by Ellyse Fischer and another by Sophie Gobbo. Overall the girls had a great first period controlling the play in their opponents zone through out. From there the game tightened up until the 3rd period when Victoria Thompson scored her first goal of the season and Emmie Poirier finished it off. Final score was 5-1 for Predators Team Blue. Overall a great start to the season for this team.
