Concussion Education-Awareness, Recognition and Guidelines for
Coaches/Trainers/Parents/Players

A concussion is an invisible brain injury that cannot be seen by an x-ray, MRI, or CT scan. Concussions affect the way a person thinks and remember things for a short time. Concussions can cause a variety of symptoms. SCPGHA will assist in providing tools and resources to both coaches/trainers/parents and players for the prevention, recognition of and concussion symptom management to help further build awareness and influence positive behaviours.

Below are some useful links to our concussion library.  SCPGHA is committed to concussion education and awareness  for all of  its members and is dedicated to the task of minimizing and ultimately eliminating them in hockey.
