Hello South County Predators U7 Parents. My name is Dan Pettypiece for those of you that do not know me. I have been coaching at all levels of youth hockey as well as running power skating/hockey schools since 1976. Many of you if not all weren’t even born when I started coaching. Lol. I’m starting my 2nd year in charge of skill development for South County U7 and U9 girls. My Philosophy: Developing skating and hockey skills so your daughters have the tools necessary to stay in and play the game as they move into the older divisions. It's very important to me. But even more important is creating a relaxed, safe & inclusive environment and most important making it fun while they are learning the skills. At the end of the year I want them all to come back and play year after year and beyond. As you probably already know our first session is this Wed. Sept. 13 at 6pm in Harrow. Some of you may be 1st time hockey parents, others are already veterans having older daughters playing. When you arrive at the arena please read the dressing number assignment board in the lobby. As always no males are allowed in the dressing rooms. If the fathers, grandfathers etc. need to help their daughters there are seats outside the dressing rooms for that purpose. I will already be on the ice working with the U9s who skate at 5pm. If you have any concerns or questions please feel free to email me. I looking forward to another great season with your daughters.
