VSC & Ontario Screening Submission Portal – Step by Step

If you have already have a valid VSC on file in your Spordle/HCR account you will still need to complete the screening submission portal to complete the online declaration form. 


 

All Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) documents must be submitted and verified through the Ontario Screening Submission Portal. Submissions made through the RAMP Registration Portal will not be accepted.

If a staff member is deemed ineligible after review of their VSC, they will be notified.

Step 1: Get Your Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) Number

  • You’ll need your HCR number to complete the process.

  • If you don’t know it, visit: Find Your HCR Number

Step 2: Obtain Your Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

  • Request a VSC from your local Police Station. 

  • Once you receive it, make sure you have it saved as a PDF file.

  • If your VSC is still being processed, you may use the receipt from your Police Station (also in PDF format) to show proof of request.

Step 3: Prepare Your Documents

  • Only PDF files will be accepted.

  • Photos, images, or other formats cannot be uploaded.

Step 4: Submit Through the Ontario Screening Submission Portal

  • Upload your HCR number and VSC (or receipt) into the Ontario Screening Submission Portal. (For more info click here)

Step 5: Check your status

  • To see if your screening has been approved, check your status in Spordle/HCR.
