South County Predators Girls Hockey Association (SCPGHA) is a not-for-profit organization.
Its' objectives are:
1) Promote girls hockey in the Towns of Amherstburg, Harrow, Kingsville and surrounding areas as a division of the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) by authority of the Hockey Canada (HC).
2) Stress the importance of
good sportsmanship and good citizenship
3) To have and exercise a general care, supervision, and direction over the playing interests of its teams
and players.

History
The first Executive meeting was held on September 22, 1970. Plans were made for registration and the
fee was set at $5.00 per player.
Ice time was obtained at the Tri-Community Arena, Amherstburg, on Friday evenings from 7:15 - 10:15
p.m. The first games were played on December 4, 1970 with 120 players between the ages of 5 & 15
years.
The second season of play opened on January 8, 1971, in the new Harrow & Colchester South Arena and
the registration numbered 240.
The first full season on home ice was the 1972-73 seasons.
Harrow and Colchester South Minor Hockey Association (HCSMHA) and Kingsville Minor Hockey
Association (KMHA), merged their travel programs to form Erie North Shore Minor Hockey Association
(ENSMHA) starting the 2011-12 season.
At the end of the 2016-17 season SCPGHA separated from Harrow & Colchester South Minor Hockey
Association of the Erie North Shore Minor Hockey Association to strictly run South County Predators Girls
Hockey.
